Moto-Scoot's Andrew Mauk takes the AHRMA Middlweight Superbike Championship for 2009!

Andy just got back from Barber Motorsports in Alabama, where he won his 8th straight race, and clinched the championship on the ultra custom MOMBA Kawasaki 550. "Winning the races was the easy part" says Andy, "Building the bike and finishing races is what we're most excited about."

The Team Momba GPZ550 Andy rode has a long history dating back to an original article puplished in Motorcyclist Magazine 3 years ago. Watch for a re-issue of the MOMBA articles in up comming issues of Motorcycle Retro Illustrated.
